Aylmer Park System

Aylmer has an extensive park system that runs along Catfish Creek almost the whole length of town.  It is comprised of five main parks, and you can walk your dog, disc golf, ride your bike, play ball, swim in the City pool in season, or let the kids play on the equipment.  You can park at the Optimist Park off Elm St. and work east, or go to Steen Park past the Aylmer Sales Arena and work west.  Or, just pick your spot and go from there.

Some of the houses along the creek have done beautiful jobs on their landscaping. It is a pleasant place.

Going further east across John St., Steen Park begins.

Steen Park has an 18 hole disc golf course that runs on both sides of the creek, a soccer field and a baseball diamond.  Easy access is at the bottom of the hill past the Aylmer Sales Arena on Spruce St. east.

Going back to the west, on the opposite side of Elm St. towards the west is Rotary Park.  Nice walking area there too.
