Since March of 2011, natural disasters of one type or another seem have been in the news.

March 11 – Japan Earthquake and Tusnami

The earthquake off the coast of Japan was the 5th largest ever recorded on our planet since records began, and it triggered a terrible tsunami.  A rather startling hillside video of the tsunami coming in is here.  Should come with a warning.

April – June 2011 — Flooding along the Mississippi River

April 28 – Tornadoes in Alabama

May 21 – Volcano in Iceland

May 22 – Monster Tornado hits Joplin, Missouri
