We start December 5, 2010-

It’s baaack, and it’s beautiful. You might have noticed we had just a bit of snow. And just a reminder that if you go to the Dog Park, don’t forget to take water this time of year. Dogs need water in the winter too.
And can there be anything better than catching snowballs?

Well, helloooo there! In the middle of all this slop and snow, somebody decided to take lemons and make lemonade. Nice work.
Update Dec. 15 – Ok, ok. Maybe not so beautiful by now. Pipes freezing, hundreds of cars stranded on the 402, helicopters and snowmobiles rescuing motorists, shoveling the driveway yet again, walking through slop trying to get anywhere, getting stuck in a flat parking lot, saying the Lord’s Prayer going around Glanworth curve — perhaps it is wearing a bit thin. Perhaps it’s time to revisit a classic that was going around a couple of years ago – “Diary of a Snow Shoveler” that we’ve reprinted on our Strange & Wonderful page.
Update Feb. 2 – Enough already! Mr. Groundhog, bring on Spring.
Update March 10, 2011 - Late winter/early spring thaw at the dog park.
Update March 22, 2011 - Winter roars back in a spectacular snowfall.
